Waqa’s Christmas

Look at us, being all cute with these stories from our past! While we kick back with a little bit too much eggnog and hunt down some hotties under the mistletoe, we’ll keep the King’s Christmas stories going with the sweet Fijian himself, Waqa!

Waqa’s Christmas

My best memory of Christmas is…

When I was growing up in Fiji, my family from all the different islands would come together and party for an entire week!! Lots of food and celebrating with family up until New Year’s, when the Village would turn into a celebration of water and have a water fight.

Christmas in my household includes…

Celebration with friends, plenty of family and a few beers.

I’m spending my holidays…

With Calypso (my dog), plenty of time in the garden and enjoying relaxed living in Townsville.

This year, I’m asking Santa for…

A really good year!

I learnt the truth about Santa when…

I was 6 years old at my Christening, but in Fiji there is no fat bearded man walking around in a red suit – families decorate their homes for Christmas with lights and tinsel, but I never really knew what Santa looked like.
